Our Story
On a weekend trip in 2021, my wife and I quickly fell in love with Summerville’s charm, strong community values, and the small-town feel — exactly what we were looking for our family. We decided to make the move from NY in 2022 after I retired as a sergeant from the NYPD and nowhere has ever felt more like home.
My passion for helping others runs deep and I wanted to make sure I continued that as part of my work after leaving law enforcement. I learned most of my handyman skills from my dad, who worked as a handyman after he retired from the NYPD (guess you can say it runs in the family). Since relocating to Summerville, I’ve gained even more valuable experience working with a property service company, and now I’m excited to offer trusted, top-quality work directly. At I Got A Guy, I provide honest, reliable handyman services in both residential and commercial properties.
